A quick jaunt around the piece of road here that I use as a shakedown track. Another awful autumn day here. I am fairly sure I saw a small cloud way over in the background. Bert's Zorst is marvellous. As you can hear, the bike works a lot harder pulling a chair, but this K donk loves it.

Brilliant, but that blue sky must be a real bummer......jealous I am.
what's the story with the low flying bird at 3:02, at first I thought the RAAF were buzzing you ;-)
How have you mounted the camera, whatever it is works great.
and what loverly roads to ride on and not a white line to be seen. The whole road is your own by the looks of it, and not a lot of traffic either.
I better start saving for my ticket ;-0

Sorry, I bought a universal type GPS holder...suction type...which wouldn't hold...so I ended up having to glue it with Araldite to the chair behind the3 windscreen. Then the hold which sits in a kind of cup and ball arrangement kept falling out.....so some blutac helped there....and the judicious use of some gaffer tape to hold the camera a bit steadier. Very Happy

I whole heartedly agree with that.
Truely wonderful song.
Hope TWB does not catch this thread or he will be home in time for Narrandera.
In the mating season they can be so agressive they draw blood when they swoop on you and at other times so friendly they walk in to your house and take food from your hand.
Then crap on the floor and leave.
I had one used to follow me round the yard while gardening. It would grab any bug I unearthed while pulling weeds etc. Stand right next to me. Totally wild bird. But never swooped on anyone.
Getting all misty now.

Pretty good result Seanni, without the fairing in the frame the shake woul be less noticeable. Yor really are spoilt for roads there - A road that wide over here would be a national primary route full of traffic! I'd loose my liscence if I was let loose on them.

p.s. Where's the heavy breathing from Bella?

Nice going Sean,
I followed your tour on Google earth, off New Eng Highway onto Bradley, McKie, Baldersleigh, Tingha, Llangothin and home.
At least that's the route I think you took.....made for an interesting tour of Guyra.

The images on Google earth show a much drier area than appears on your vid. the area looks a lot greener on your's.

What cam are you using coz the quality is v.good

DeRodster, it's just a little point and shoot Samsung digital camera which has an HD video capacity. 1280x720p. I just bought it as a point and shoot thingy.....but decided to give it a whirl. One of the advantages with the chair is that I can mount the camera behind the windshield and so get the sound of the bike without the awful wind noises.
Sean.

Yesterday was the first day of real summer (27 degrees and NO rain) and we went for a short 150k ride. A friend owns a go-pro camera and we decided to some shots of the chair. The only problem is that the camera was mounted on the fairing of a HD and it shakes like crazy.
When mounted on the helmet, the Go-Pro makes excellent videos. We'll try again. Very Happy

how was the traffic on Thunderbolts for that weekend, usually gets busy with the Hunter riders heading to Walcha and back.
