Good morning.
I'm not here to put anybody's nose out of joint, so I'll confess straight away that I actually ride a K1100, NOT a K100 :oops:In my defence I'll say that my previous bike WAS a K100.
The current ride is a '97 K1100LT SE. The SE stands for Special Edition, which means, amongst other things, that it came fitted with a radio cassette player. About the most useless bike accessory I can think of, with the possible exception of an ashtray. Or air conditioning.
A group of friends and I have ridden around a bit, sometimes in northern Europe, mostly in the UK. Our UK trips are often to race circuits to support one of our group who races a 250 Yamaha at club level and is currently the National Champion in his class.
When I find out how to post pictures on here I'll give it a go.
Latest adventure into the mechanicals of the bike was to replace a badly slipping (oil contaminated...) clutch, along with the engine side oil seal, and sundry other perished rubber items.
That's about it.
See y'all soon.
