Hi all,
I'm from Belgrave in the Dandenong Ranges, about 50kms east of Melbourne, Victoria , Australia.
I purchased my 1985 K100RS about 18 months with 70,000 kms on the clock. It is in pretty good nick overall. I just love riding my K and have done about 10,000 troublefree k's on it so far. I think its about time I did some of those maintenance things like drive shaft lube. I am also in the process of putting in fan overide switch and water temp guage. I'II be looking at the posts on this forum and maybe some help/advice to do these and other things.

Welcome to the forum Bolts! Good to have another mexican on here..............and dont believe everything those other terrors are suggesting about halo and I...............well not all of it anyway!
Lock yourself in for some days off in september for the trip to Bathurst if you can, I've pretty much worked out a killer route to get there, bends, speed, bends, that sort of thing. Halo will arrive first, guaranteed.

Bolts Mate another one from the hills you must be 5 mins down the road from me I am at hughes st where it hits the tourist rd. Pop up and say hello tonight for 5mins if you have nothing else going on tonight (mondays and tuesday the wife works in the evenings)

Thanks all for your replies - made me feel very welcome.
Don't think I can make the Bathurst thingy, I am heavily involved with the Classic Motorcycle Club of Vic, in fact I am Club captain, and we have a rally planned for Ballarat that month and getting a leave pass from the missus for 2 events would be like mission impossible.
Halo, thanks for the invite and I will catch up when the K is back on the road, no dramas, just doing a couple of elec mods.
