Hey guys! I'm Mike. I just picked up my first BMW...a 91' K100LT. The plan is to strip it down and build a cafe racer out of it.

I have all the original fairings and accessories if you guy are interested in buying any parts to complete your original projects, PM me and we'll get it sorted.

The bike has a little over 50k on her and needs some TLC to purr again. I'm going to start by changing all the fluids, filters, and plugs. As well as the fuel pump which seems to be the main culprit for her problems beyond 3k rpms.

G'day Mike!

Welcome to the funhouse. We'd love photos of the transformation to cafe racer.

Seen any big Hollywood stars?

Keep an eye on the deterioration of the rubber bits.

Thank you for the warm welcome blaKey! Im excited to under go this project and will most definitely get some pics up ASAP.

I see celebs all the time...I train at the same gym as Charlie Hunnam (Jax Teller from Sons of Anarchy) and have met a lot of other amazing stars.

I need to pick a fuel pump design (Ford conversion seems promising) and get it running smoother before the mods commence. Very Happy

Welcome Mike!
I did the Ford conversion about 25000 miles ago and haven't had a problem whatsoever.
Also check out the fuel pressure regulator while you're at it.
We definitely need pics here, reading is such a chore.
