Just wonder if the RAM Mount ball mount for the mirror RAM-B-236U mounting hole on the left hand side handle bar is going to fit.
ie is that hole threaded.....?

I know you are asking ''why doesn't he go out and look'''....thing is I'm not near the machine just now and i want to order a suitable mount for gps.

The mirror holes are not threaded; 8mm clearance and 28mm deep.

Just as well I checked first.

Rod have a look at some of the posts on here where they have fitted a ram mount.

One common route is to drill a hole through an unused switch on the dash, stick the threaded bar through the hole and put a small plate and nut on the bottom.
All the damage you have done is to the switch blank.
