Last weekend the sidecar crowd gathered at Slimbridge, just south of Gloucester, for a rally organised by the Heddingham Sidecar Owners Club.
After the previous weekend's camp was cancelled because the site in Yorkshire was waterlogged from an excess of snow and rain, it was an amazingly dry and sunny event, in spite of the cold easterly wind. Of course, clear skys meant a cold night with a good frost, around -3ºC, so it took a while to get some slushy water out of my water carrier in the mornings for a cuppa (tea that is).
This picture shows everyone preparing for Saturday's rideout.
Paul.
