Having owned H-Ds way back in the dark ages and more recently BMW R bikes I thought I would try a K machine.

Currently I am working on a 1985 K-100, Having to replace most of the rubber grommets and the like. Have not decided yet what color to paint it.

I live here in the wonderful riding country of Idaho with my wife who does not reide but who encourages me to get out on the road as much as ois possible.

At 85 years of questionable experience in life's adventures I most likely am one of the older habituates of this forum.

Welcome Bob. I'm very pleased to see your intro. I'm always inspired by riders older than I am. Not too often I encounter 'em! Sad

Welcome from Australia Bob great to have you along for the ride.
Well at 85 I think you may have crowning glory as the only other I can think of that is in his 80s is Ajays and he's a spring chicken at 84 and still restoring and riding.
Makes me glad to think that at 63 I may have more than 20 years left to ride, hopefully!

Welcome Bob from the Emerald Isle.....good to see you on the K...

Hope you enjoy......

As for colours, some very nice possible colours out there, but its a case of go for what you want. I hope if I get to 85 the only thing concerning me is what colour to paint my k..!! And we don't paint ours green over here..!!!
