Welcome from Oz Pete.
You will notice a big difference in the K, and probably won't like it at first compared to your other machines, but get it out on a nice long trip (not sure how big your island is) and you will love it.
Cheers
RT

Welcome slick50, I agree with what RT has said, you'll probably hate it at first but give it a couple of long spins to et the feel of the brick and you will be converted. Let us know how you get on.

Welcome aboard slick50 - I concur with the above responses. Give it a little time and a few good long rides and you will wonder how you ever managed before you had a K bike Wink

Welcome to the Knut House.
I can remember my first long distant ride on a K100RS, from Sydney to Coff's Harbour (600KM).
I wasn't that impressed until I hit the Bulahdelah bends. That bike just flew through them like a hot knife through butter.
Anyone who has been through them will what it's like. Sadly, the Powers to be decided to widen the road and by-pass the Bends Sad

Welcome Pete, lots of help here to get it fettled.

It's not the blue one from Wales is it? Guy on FB just sold it and replaced with a K1100?

You can be both a Bimmer and a Triumph fan - speaking as Street Triple owner Very Happy. Different bikes for different things.

Cheers
Dave

Hi Pete welcome to the forum. I just Googled Canvey Island and found out it is rather famous for strange sea creatures being washed up on the beach.
