Heard about this forum from a post on the R65.org website. I have been an airhead rider for years and picked up a K75S that has been sitting for a couple of years after having been neglected. It is all there and I am looking forward to bringing it back to life. I had tried one back in the day but stuck with the air cooled variety. Finally decided there is nothing wrong with both.

Welcome to the Knuthaus Marc. You have the best of the K75 range there, post a pic so we can all be a little bit envious that you have one and we don't

Thank you for the welcome. I look forward to learning about this bike from all the members here. I took a couple of pictures of the bike but haven't quite figured out how to post them here. If it's anything like the airhead forum I am on the saying is. "If there's no picture, the bike doesn't exist!"

Sure feels huge compared to my little airhead.

welcome aboard. The triples are great bikes too, more inherent balance apparently than the inline 4. you're already having fun k ing about. found some sharp prices for airfilters out of www.motobins.co.uk, neat animated engines too. safe riding

That is a very sad looking photo. A kannibalised K. We know such things exist, we just dont usually see them in the flesh....Looks like one that will never ride again....

I bought it this way.
On the bright side.........1 year ago, I bought a very perfect working Instrument cluster off the same bike from the guy who owned it (then) for $10! The guy clearly did not know what he had.
His brother gave him the bike after it sat for several years non-op, no keys, no title. I don't know why it was originally taken out of service???? I did note that the rear wheel flanges were slightly bent outward, but not the front. Curious how that occurred?
Anyway, the guy took it apart & was trying to use the engine/driveline for some kind of dune buggy. He originally found himself in "over his head" so eventually he sold the buggy frame and what was left of the bike to another guy.
I bought it from him. It was too far gone by the time I got it to try to repair.
So far, I've sold the front end and the 3 injectors out of it.
