Great looking bikes but lots missing to make it a complete build. I think the real challenge is to make something that looks and performs well.

In British Columbia, where I live, engine displacement determines insurance costs, except on "Collector" bikes -- which have to be mint stock original. Seems like one group of enthusiasts captured the government insurance agency's attention way back when, so non-stock builds don't qualify. That really puts a crimp in the local custom scene, because cafes, customs, etc. don't qualify for super-cheap "Collector" plates (all uses allowed except driving to work or school). $100 a month for a bigger bike on regular plates & insurance gets into money quickly. Nice to see some high-quality builds of this kind on a K.
