I am kicking myself that I didn't stop to look at it as i drove home from Noosa. I must have driven within 10km of the bike at Ormeau.

Unfortunately not all of us are on holidays any more Mr K.
I was looking at flights.
If I carry my helmet on and wear my boots, leather pants, gloves and jacket and stick a clean pair of jocks in my pocket I can get a plane ride for about $90 to the Gold Coast.
But I have to see the bike first.

Looks like Rick can't make it. The time he is there is when the guy is at work.
I will see if he sells it tomorrow and then work from there.
He was happy to provide more photos to show more detail of the bike. Still nothing like a hands on.
I stressed over the one last week I missed out on so I am not going to stress about this one for tonight.

I like the seat...and yes Rossco...10 up 10 back.....used to go to Ipswich to teach a one hour course and drove straight back....would not recommend it too often but it is doable...

That bike at Procycles looks reasonable, at least it has a comfortable seat.

Fingers crossed the bike is a ok as it looks.

After an offer from Rick that unfortunately did not eventuate due to timing issues, Charlie sort of volunteered 73MOH to go check out the bike.
when I say volunteered, I mean he mentioned 73 lived near to the bike.

So graciously 73MOH has arranged to meet the guy tonight to have a look at the Basic2 for me.
I have my finger hovering over the buy it now one way ticket to Brisbane for Sunday.
I have the rest of my fingers crossed.

Hoping to be on a flight on Sunday landing at Brisbane at 1.05. Onto the 1.30 air train to beenleigh or Ormeau and onto the bike.
Paul offered to meet me at Beenleigh station if he is not called off to work before hand and the owner rang and said his wife told him not to be a tight arse and meet me at his local station.
so whatever happens, seems I am good for a lift on the final leg to the bike.
Spending Saturday night on a yacht moored under the harbour bridge to celebrate Australia day and watch the fireworks.
Hopefully none of that horrible sea sickness that comes in 375ml bottles and cans carries through too far into Sunday.

So, who do we know that lives between Brisbane and Sydney that may like to see a shiney BMW in their drive for a night?

there are so many choices on the inland route....Seans, Bed and Breakfast at Guyra is always open...I have heard a bottle of red goes a long way to making the night a roaring success, Rick also lives on the way and then there is that great cafe at Gloucester....and my place at Windsor if the last 30kms is too much.....love to see it.

an adventure unfolds...hopefully your weather will be better than tacklers trip north with his new bike...rain all the way...great fairing though on the RT..unlike your Krauser with skylight....built for speed not dryness....

Plane booked. How good am I going to look on Tiger airways. 7kg of hand luggage. Guess the leather pants, jacket, gloves and boots stay on for the flight. Wonder if I should take the sliders off the pants? I could wear the helmet and remove the pants?
Can't forget the talc for the armpits and undies. Light dusting should be enough.

There's a bed here for you if you need it mate. Exactly 800ks to Sydney, an easy day.

In one breath you are being ridden and the next you are only wearing a helmet with puffs of talc all over the place.....do they film on tiger???...looking forward to seeing the basic 2 and you fully dressed...lol

seriously if you have a flight north out of sydney late in the afternoon (6.00pm or later - evening ) look at whats happening in melbourne before you book ...if there is any chance of a hickup, it happens down there late aftenoon ....which delays sydney ...staff shift runs out by 8.00pm sydney time so many flights never leave for brissy on the "budget lines " have seen many left to their own devices after 8.30pm

cooled down up here last couple o days .....unless it heats up again ...good riding weather and so easy up on the new england tablelands ,,cooler than the coast for sure
