Hello Kphiles
I have rejoined the motorcycle world again in classic style. In my early days I started on Husqvarna 250, then to my first road bike 1975 CB 350, then CB 360, then 550 F blue 1975, then in '81 I bought a '76 Goldwing burgundy. Mid 80s I got an XS Yamaha 650 and sold it when a buddy was injured. I'd sworn off motorcyles even thru my second childhood in my 40s. I love to race sailboats, much slower and probably more dangerous?? If anyone gets up here to Chicago we can go for a sail. So I can't believe that my wife would let me buy this stunning K100rs for my 55th birthday. I always loved the "ladrillo volador" and when I found this great bike for sale with 13,000 miles on it, I just nagged the wife until she caved in:heart:. She (the K) ran great, and she had some small issues with a broken mirror, small leak at the forward oil pan, drying splines, one small leak on the left front fork, etc but wow. I am like a twenty year old.
I am so grateful for this forum and the great welcoming folks here. I am honored to be here and looking forward to contributing. thankyou.
