Since we have had two great trips, the last one up to Antrim courtesy of ComberJohn. We are now looking at our next one...
Someone suggested a new thread....so here it is.
Exploring idea:
The Ring of Kerry and the Healy Pass. A great whole day run and some spectacular scenery. If I can work out how to post pictures I will put some up from a summer run [Bjorn, you did this one too, any photos?]
The Dingle Peninsula and Slea Head Drive. Also a nice whole day run.
Thoughts were to make a weekend of it so we can do both and perhaps go for the June holiday weekend [Sat Sun Mon 1/2/3 June]. There is also a bikefest on in Killarney which is on the Ring of Kerry and so its bikes bikes bikes all weekend. Easter may also be an option.
Accommodation is available or camping for anyone like myself who prefers canvas.
There are nice routes down to Killarney and a great atmosphere. We are not under any obligation to stay in Killarney and there are many other nice places available anywhere on these routes.
Perhaps consider rent a house or two and share for weekend? Most have two beds per room, so we have 6 beds plus another in the living room. We could go anywhere on the routes. This might allow us to explore some culinary skills and would also keep cost of a weekend trip within tighter limits and allow us to arrive Friday night. I would be game for a cook up a feast in a house and willing to hit the aprons. Could give rise to a seriously nice dinners and breakfasts.....I have a place in mind too.

Do we have any preferences on this? Would be nice to get a few other members along.
Anyone travelling from abroad would be most welcome.
