Hello,Can anyone tell me the order of fuses on my k100rt.I dont have a cover on them so dont know which fuse relates to the tail light.The bulb is in order and as far as i know so are all the fuses,but would like to know this anyway.I believe they are all 7.5 or 15 amp.So from top to bottom which one relates to what????Any help appreciated.

Hi Geoff,
The cover does not tell you what they are, your owners manual for the year has that info in it. Alternatively there is a copy of the Haynes manual that is on the download section of this site and also elsewhere on the net.

Bert has also produced a superb CAD drawing of the circuit diagram which is quite useful for most years and is also available as a download.

Thanx for the prompt reply it helps a lot.The top fuse is for the taillight which i have checked and is in order as the brake light works ok.Maybe have dirty contacts.I will check the circuit with a multimeter asap.

Theres a block connector down under the Rh side of the tail section
which may be suffering from bad connections
Its a 6 way IIRC, I remeber seeing it when I took an 85 RT apart

Hi Geoff,
On these bikes it is well worth pulling each connection on the bike apart including each earth point and cleaning/treating with the deoxit red and then the gold.
These bikes are many years old and it is exposed to all the weather so a tratment of all electrical connections will ensure no problems with that going forward.
