I looked long and hard, but could not find a post. I am sure there is one here that will be pointed out to me in record time.
So I have a very minor leak at the gear lever.
I was noticing a little smoke coming up where the headers meet the muffler. I thought one of the clamps was loose.
Went for a ride again today to test the new rear brake light switch (a bench test is never enough on an unregistered bike) and hose from reservoir to master cylinder (all good btw) and when I got home noticed the wisp of smoke.
So I got on the ground to have a look and noticed it was a little shiny on the housing below the gear lever.
First thing I did was stick my finger in there to see if it was oil.
After some minor 1st aid to the burn on my finger I put some paper towel wrapped around a screw driver in there and sure enough it is oil.
Please tell me this is an easy fix. I got my mirrors today and the light switch and was going for a blue slip tomorrow.
