Just picked up this 1991 BMW K100RS. It sat for 10 years and wouldn't run. After changing all the fluids, replacing the tires, replacing the fuel pump and fuel sender, and clearing the ABS light it runs great now.

Future plans include paint this winter and other minor things such as new buttons and plastic covers on the handlebars and the missing part of the windshield (small wind scoop). Also have to mount a GPS (saw the other forum already started showing various options, just have to purchase the brackets I need).

You got a lovely machine there. Low mileage too. Enjoy it and welcome to the forum...

Nice looking bike beemer678
welcome to the mad house.
Go to the Introduction section and tell us a bit about yourself, we are all bored geezers sitting in old people's home looking for excitement.

GPS mount, look at RAM. Easy, cheap, solid.

Thank you RT and 92KK! It's my first BMW and I've only been riding a couple of times but I can already tell the difference from the other bikes that I have ridden previously (a honda nighthawk 750 and suzuki GZ 250). Everything just feels seamless - the way it shifts, everything.

Not sure how I exactly want to work the GPS mount club c but I'm definitely going to research the RAM mounts that are available. I might also try to go off the screws on the top of the windshield but I don't know how well that would work. But, I'll just have to play around and see what works the best some day in the garage.

Third the ram mount. Its easy and no attaching to the screen area, which im guessing is costly to replace if it cracks..

Really nice ride there!
