When I turn on the key in preparation to start my K100RS, some of the instrument lights illuminate. I see the brake failure warning triangle, the neutral indicator, perhaps the "choke" and battery but the temperature warning light never lights. Does this only light when the engine runs too hot? Does this mean I have a bulb failure? I don't ever recall seeing this light, even when I ride the motorcycle in high ambient temperatures. I do note the fan turns easily when I spin it manually, but I'm wondering if there is a faulty relay or some other glitch.
With any luck, I'm worrying unnecessarily.
