I'm about to reassemble my 86 K100RS and want to order the last missing parts.
I could not find the crankcase breather rubber hose in the parts fiche.
can someone direct me to it or has the parts number?

Thank you

Marten

Humor me here, please. Could you cut the hose and put a breather filter on the end of the hose coming out of the crankcase and plug the air box fitting? Is there a vacuum issue or is this simply a crankcase vent? Just brainstorming.

Its meant to do the same job as a PCV valve. with your idea you will find the engine would run OK but the small filter would get oil soaked very quickly. Personally I would not do it.
You can get the hoses go to http://www.motobins.co.uk/bmw-parts.php?model=K%20Series and search for engine breather hose
And you have it for about $16-$17.
