Any other ideas for needle bearing removal from actuation arm?
Don't have access to a slide puller. Haven't got a diamond coated file, but could get one as this looks reasonably easy....Screwdriver and hammer, with WD40 and heat, applied from my soldering torch?

Heat is a good starting point but dont go too hot ( not past 160deg C) or you start to affect the tensile strength of the aluminium.

And rather use a pin punch, than a screw driver.
Less possibility of unwanted marks inside the actuator arm.

Or do what I did and give the whole arm to an engineering shop and walk away for a day. But then I'm pretty
lazy.

Never tested this metod, but I think the idea is to use a bolt with a expanding metal sleeve.

And fit the bolt so it is just past the bearing at the inner end,as the sleeve expands conical at the end it locks at the end of the bearing.

And then hit the end of the with a pin punch from the other side...........
Or, if it`s enough threads....pull the bearing out, with the aid of some various lenght bushings and washers.

Another thing is to find a suited bolt , with this small diameter.........but with some search.

6mm stainless rod would get that out, put it out in the sun and get it warm will help.
