Something is missing from some of the locks on my hardbags. On two or three of the locks, the tumblers will come out with the key. It's annoying. I have to push the tumbler with my finger when removing the key, or the tumbler will come out with it.

Sometimes after a long ride, the vibrations will allow the tumblers to "walk" out of the housings by 3-4 mm. Luckily I have not lost one..yet!

I am not familiar with this lock, but it is obvious that I am missing a clip or something.

Some locks use retaining pins. If you see an empty hole in the housing that might be your problem.

I had one lock where the retaining ring was missing.
I made a new one from a piece of metal saw blade. It has the perfect thickness! The first thing to do is to heat the saw blade until red and let it cool down on its own. It will become softer and you will be able to cut it and shape it.
