Dee Why made a very good comment about unit from a Japanese naked bike. He also gave a post for one which looks great.
I suspect a unit from an early Honda 750 or 500 four, they were a sealed beam complete unit with the chrome 'bucket' to the rear and H4 bulb, same as the K. When I had one I had it upgraded from the standard bulb to 130/110 watt bulb and it was very good. The K bike must have a relay installed to allow this but a headlight relay is already recommended anyway [and by now fitted to most Ks], just watch the capacity of the live wiring from battery to relay to bulb.
The chrome bucket can be painted black or whatever colour you would like. Because you would be painting it you will not be looking for one with good chrome. The sealed beam headlight unit was a standard size that would interchange with a lot of cars too, readily available.
These units had the two chrome sleeves which covered the fork stanchions and pivoted for adjustment, if you dont want to use the same fixing arrangement as on the link. It would be a very neat fit.
