35 years ago, I was riding sidecars, but was too immature and rode on the street the same way as you ride on the track.

I was a motorcycle dealer and we had a small racing team. Yamaha 250TZ, Ducati 750ss, Laverda 1000, Kawasaki 500 H1 and .... a suzuki GT750 racing rig.

Here is my last rig (GEP sidecar). I was riding it so hard that I broke the reinforced motorcycle frame in half  Embarassed
My last rig... Dsc_0614

Now, I am seriously considering a K100 3 wheels.

Expensive! I can't imagine it being much less thirsty than a GT550 which was my first sidecar hauler Twisted Evil Actually it pulled the Velorex very well , could follow a fellow with CB750+Squire without problems. But the 15 liter tank could be totally empty in 75 km's so a jerrycan was always in the sidecar.

The 380GT was in fact not a bad bike to pull a sidecar. I had replaced the sprockets to gain more torque but the max speed was about 130km/h with a light passenger. The sidecar was fiberglass and quite light. In fact when riding solo, the wheel was more often in the air than on the road.
This was a very fun rig in the twisties and this is what I liked about it.
The 650 Urals are originally sold with a heavy sidecar, even if they get only 28HPs.
The GT380 was 32HPs. With a lighter sidecar, it had better performances.

I had a dealership for all the Italian bikes and could access many powerful demo bikes if I needed to go fast.

During this time, I rode few rigs like Goldwing, Laverda SF with 2 seaters chair and not forgetting the amazing GT750. The 750 triple 2 strokes was the most fun: torquy, powerful and smoky!

Here is a good one.... What is the perfectly shaped dent on the mud guard?

My last rig... Gt38010

It was on a rainy day,a cute girl was wearing a mini skirt and and oil delivery truck was parked on the side of the road.
I looked at the girl, and rode under the truck's bumper. The problem was that the faring brackets bent and the fairing got pushed against the handle bars. My hands were stocked until people came and pulled the fairing away. Talk about looking stupid!
