Hi all just found this forum have owned my k100rs for about 10 years it is a 1989 abs model and has not been on the road for the last 5 years due to also owning a kawasaki gpz900r I am just starting to get this back on the road and hope to do this over the next few months I have just obtained an abs (brain) and am now looking for a rear brake disc to get this to pass the mot as the one on the bike is very worn.
I rode this bike all year round for 5 years and it never missed a beat and deserves to be back on the road.
will try to post some pics as soon as I start to get it ready, but will be taking my time to do the jobs that need doing as time and funds permit. will be searching for advice as I progress

Greetings Biker92 and welcome to the forum. An 89 RS is certainly worth putting back on the road.

Biker92,
G,day mate. Don't forget the two allen head disk retention bolts need to be replaced each disk change , as they round out each time and they are not included in the kit and it is a sunday morning and nothing is open and I get cranky and have to do something else, grr.
Welcome sesame.

Welcome to the forum Biker92 from another UK "K" rider. You should be able to find anything that you need from one of the following links:

Motobins

Motorworks

James Sherlock

I hope that the above links help you to find what you need to keep the "flying brick" running - there is also ebay to consider as a source for bits Wink

Hi Biker 92,

Welcome to the forum and a world of information at your fingertips...

You say you have had to source a new ABS Controller... Did you look into sending the one you have off to be repaired? I dont think there are to many left and having a spare one would be good. My Controller is being repaired at the moment, they are simple electronics and repairable.
