hey all!
the season started, as the temperatures jumped above 0 degrees C and new (and old) problems came to light...as i am getting ready for a trip to Monte Negro this summer (~4kkm both ways) i need that bike to run like a baby;))
1. it starts very hard in the mornings and it got even worse when i switched from 10W40 to 20W50 but that's due to the oil being thick. even though, the bike runs very hard and if don't hold the revs around 2000rpm, it dies. also, when i push the start button, it floods immediately (can it run a bit too rich?). during that hard start, the engine rattles pretty loud. all those sympthoms go away when the engine gets warm. maybe the temperature sensor??
2. gearbox - it's pretty hard to change the gears sometimes, but not down (that's ok). it's hard to change the gears up - can it also be temperature related? oil viscosity etc....
just as a reminder - i cleaned all the connections with deoxit, changed the throttle rubbers, changed the engine breather, timing chain, air filter, fuel filter and did all the neccesary maintenance. sparks new, wires etc...
i am open to your comments guys!
thanks a bunch!!
