I have been working on another project and needed sattelite tracking for it. I found this great lil application that allows live tracking with heaps of info. It is called instamapper This will give you a live realtimefeed from google maps of your location using your GPS enabled phone. You can set the frequency of updates and share the link with other people. You can also remotely activate the software via sms and email. I thought I will use this on our Aruleun trip and make the info available for all to follow us.

For those of you who are interested I have set up a one time account for GPS Sat enabled phone tracking. This will be available while we are in service range for the software to update the map site.

Nic and I are going south to the Arualuen meet from Wednesday afternoon on. I will activate my phone for a few hours during the day so we can be tracked. Or you can turn my phone on via SMS.
