Rocker Bob...No, Father kept a tight reign...just a tourer and race goer...mainly Brands Hatch in the days of Grass. My Dad was the scruteneer and a Pal of Jack Surtees...when Bernie Eclestone was a classmate of my brother...and Eric Oliver rode a solo. Many moons ago.

But it was nice to ride with just a cap with your head turned to the right listening to the mega exhaust note and collecting blackheads in your left ear. Don't I go on...sorry about that.

As a music fan, I've always been interested in the mod/rocker dichotomy in terms of music, fashion and two-wheeled transport. That video (and song) got me to wondering, which is why I asked.

Thank goodness for dads that kept the leash short, otherwise who knows where we would have ended up!

@ Ajays that was a great video . Showed my dad his smile was unbelievable almost priceless. Got a full run down of his bikes and all the hills he roared down in your neck of the woods " Hitchin " on a 350 AJS then a BSA Gold flash with a sidecar which apperently I used to ride in as a kid Smile
