Hi there,

I’ve recently acquired a 1984 K100RT so I figured I’d introduce myself as I guess I’ll be on here a bit.

This all started when my Father Inlaw decided to get himself a new bike. He hadn’t ridden since he owned a 250cc Suzuki in the 70’s. He purchased this K100 and it was in very good nick, apparently one owner. After riding it about 5 times and dropping it twice at walking pace, he kinda lost interest.

It sat there for about 6 months when I borrowed it so I could use it while I did some work on my other bike. I had it for about 18 months when I though it would just be easier to buy it off him as my spare\summer bike, so now it's mine  Very Happy

The first pic is when I brought it. My plan is to strip it down as a naked bike. There’s a couple pics here. I’m still waiting for the right headlight so in the mean time I’m using the original item. I had a bit of fun making the seat, I’ve included a couple of designs I tried. When I’m happy with shape I’ll cover it properly.

I’ve also got a bit excited ordering a bunch of service parts from Motobins.

Anyway, that’s enough for now.

1st  attempt at the seat, I didn't like this.

2nd attempt, I like this better, but jury is still out.

G'day, Zaff...

Its great to have another Aussie on board.

If you have it ready by March/April next year, there's another K-Ride (in its embryonic stages) to SE QLD. There's been two already, and they are heaps of fun, talking gibberish and great people.

Welcome aboard.

Rickmeister.

We are very spcelai here. You know there are three types of people in this world, those who can count and those who can't.

Zaff, some people you can count on, that is if you can count.

Well Zaff, there are countless people willing to help. That also covers those with digits or little digitals.
