It is funny when people make up their own name for a bike model. I mean, we all know what he means but how hard is it to drop that one little zero and call it what it is?! That's a rhetorical question. It's a bit like when people walk up to the BMW parts counter and want a part for their GS1100. Me in my smirky way, I almost wanna tell 'em to go the the frickin' Suzooki shop then. But then I get over it, as you do.

A few weeks back a bloke had an R1150GS on eBay. Instead of calling it that he simply had GS1150 up there in the main title, not even BMW was mentioned. Anyone with half an inkling of an idea about how the search works will know that he probably had far less 'hits' on his auction than he might have if he'd called it an R1150GS. The essence of beauty is in the details.
