Further to my recent issues with loss of power thought to be due to the RHS switchgear,

It happened again this morning, so armed with screwdrivvers I opened it up (fully this time) removin the switches for signal, cancel and headlights.

when the headlight switch came out a small ball bearing also popped out. I pu this back in where I thought appropriate, butI seem to have jammed the light switch.

does anyone know where this ball bearing goes? a photo would be perfect. I suppose trial and error might do it, but I run an increasing risk of dropping the ball bearing on the ground if I continue.

(the bike starts fine now by the way, just dirt/moisture ion the terminals it would seem.)
