Hi Maxi. Check the electrical plug on the left side of the tank, wiggle it, pull it on and off a couple of times. Known for a bad connection. If it's been sitting a while the pump may be seized. There is a tutorial here somewhere on how to take it apart and repair.

Hi gaxi. Welcome to the forum.
I agree with club c but before you start to pull pumps to bits I just wanted to clarify something.
You won't hear the pump until after you press the starter when it should run for a few seconds, unless it starts of course.
New owners sometimes expect to hear the pump pressurising as soon as the ignition is switched on.
I believe the later 16v K's do this.
Just wanted to check. Plenty of help on the forum.

Side stand down? May need to be up. Is the starter turning over?

Remember. No power in the connector except for a few seconds after the starter is pressed.
Hope you understand what I mean.
