When doing your valve adjustments, how often have you seen significant change requiring adjustment?  I did one on my K100 about 30K miles ago and didnt see much adjusting needed

Every 20,000 miles or so, I review the condition of the engine. Five valves clearances have needed adjustment into spec during 70,000 miles of operation. Spark plugs are inspected and replaced when out of spec. Rubble is shaken out of the air filter until it is clean, or the filter is replaced. Throttle body balance is checked.  It's a motorcycle. It gets pounded down the road and exposed to environmental insults of all kinds so I check it regularly; however, I accept that free will allows many of us to treat a tough, precision machine like the Brick as though it were a fairground go-kart. A baseline understanding of my Brick's current condition is necessary for me because spending time whacking moles or throwing darts at a parts fiche isn't on my agenda. Laughing

I checked LFB at 72,000 miles and found two exhaust shims just under spec. I rechecked recently at just short of 111,000 miles and nothing needed doing.

Laitch must hate me for being a lazy bugger Very Happy

Although to be fair to me, when the bike is in continuous use I do check it over pretty much every week. As soon as anything needs attending to, it is done almost immediately.

No adjustments usually needed once the first 10000 kms done.
Then check periodically and re-adjust if needed, usually every 100 000 kms.
