Hi all,

Could anyone tell me if there is a engine gasket between the gear box and the bell section as there was not one there when I parted the two parts. I would have thought rain/water could get in to the clutch area without it. I cant find one in the moto-bins or Motorworks sites. Should it be a sealant that should be there.

No gasket, its an structural joint, the engine/gearbox unit gives the stiffnesess to the tubing frame. Must be very carefull with the mating surfaces, and the guides (locating dowells) are a must to assure correct gear/engine alignment.
