…seemed like a perfect use of an old fire extinguisher bracket. Actually intended to carry one of those insulated metal water bottles on my travels, but successfully carried whisky to Belgium, Netherlands and recently a quick 1300 mile round trip over a weekend to Bonnie Scotland for a clan gathering…aptly riding through the town of Keith (taking coals to Newcastle, as they used to say…not sure if it’s the original Newcastle or the NSW one though…or both?)

This 'thinman' flask with the curved back, for back pcket comfort, has been travelling with me for over 20 years. I keep it tucked down into my Marsee tankbag.
Always in reach when I reach my destination. Never a split drop.

Both Newcastles are coal towns, so the expression is apt.  I was born in the southern one and a fair chunk of my rellies are there.
