Get yourself one of these BEP 3.0 Instrument Conversion Hub

Click on the blue link above.

As currently, Euro Moto Electrics is out of stock on this component, other sources may have it. Search the forum for many members' threads of those who are using it already. Or simply obtain a strip of coloured LEDs and follow the connections from the original instrument cluster connection and wire in those LEDS as warning lights.

Glad to read you're making progress, Ribi. Cafe4Racer seems to have an unending supply of those BEP boxes.
On the other hand, because you have no instrument cluster, maybe you would want to spring for one of
these.

I continue to ride my Big Block w/o instruments at all. I do use my Android mobile as a speedometre, clamped into a RAM mount, and charging through a dedicated USB-C connection.

The only time I've ever had an issue is while riding the four corners of Washington State and not knowing the alternator was eating itself to death (possibly due to a leaking baby bottle cum coolant bottle), leaving me at the roadside diagnosing sh*t with a multimetre, and a phone call made to a mate to come and retrieve my sorry arse. A single red LED warning lamp for the charging system would've sufficed as a fair warning. However, I would still have been by the roadside three hours from home.

BTW, the K bike, unlike an Airhead, does not need a 'trigger lamp' to begin charging, contrary to what you may hear and read.

Yes.
Ignition on, engine stopped: Expect 12 to 13 volts
Engine running: Expect 14 to 15 volts
