I was watching a Netflixy movie thing a coupla weeks ago with my gal. In one scene the younger brother opens the door to his Transit parked on a street in London, as he turns to speak to his older brother, who is standing there with his chirpy American girlfriend, says "At least I can sleep in my Sprinter." The blue Ford oval was visible. I groaned. It was clearly intended for a US audience, who likely wouldn't have a clue what a Transit was.

Transits are big sellers in the Northeast. I had to look up Sprinter. Embarassed I did pull a Sprinter out of a ditch here a few years ago. I noted the Mercedes emblem. It didn't seem sprintworthy but was nicely set up with solar panels outside, bunks inside, and was even carrying a Honda CRF and a kayak. I think he put a capstan winch on his shopping list after his adventure up here.

A friend lives in his Sprinter in Colorado during warmer months. He refers to it as his Stay Free Mini Pad.
Cool
