Had a few problems with insurance due to removing the ABS but have now found several companies willing to insure me when I explained the modifications. My own company was fine with the wheel and brake changes but went all twitchy when I mentioned removing the ABS. All sorted now though.
Had to wait until my new man cave (shed) was finished but all ready now. Got the wheels, forks, brakes, m/cylinder and front guard ready and waiting. Good tyres on the wheels. Just need a couple of brake lines now.
All the parts have cost me about £250. Forks appear to have WP springs.
Think it should look smart and looking forward to see if the handling is improved.
