1 Rear View Mirrors Mon Feb 12, 2024 12:14 am

Thought there was a thread on this or one that referenced it. So point me to it. But my Silver K75 has the T-screen and the rear view mirrors are on stalks. All of which works fine except that the mirrors where they mount on the stalks have loosened up with age. Yeah, everything loosens up with age. But I've tried to tighten them by applying Pliobond glue to the universal joint which works for a period. But in the garage with my bumping into things they get hit and the glue bond gets broken. And once on the road the mirrors shift around in the wind stream. And sometimes I wind up looking where I needn't be looking. Like today I was observing a bike quickly overtaking me only to realize they were in the next lane and not what I should be concerned with.
So anyway has anyone got a method of tightening up the mirrors? I'm looking for a new approach as the Pliobond glue which works for a while apparently isn't a permanent fix.
