Can anybody tell me if these are Showa or Sachs forks. They are on my '94 K75 RT but according to what I've read it should be brembo but clearly they are not original. The have the bulky type dust caps.

You can tell from the fork caps.

Help identifying Forks please NIiyeJM

The fork caps of the early F&S forks are the same as the left above but without the "S" stamped there.

Hi Dai, yes. FYI There were 2 issues:

1. My bike never had a recall for a stator issue, well a spacer issue. The crank spacer didn't have an oilway to let cooling oil splash on the inner face of the stator. Ducati Ireland never responded to the request and wanted stupid money for the modified part so I took mine to a local CNC engineering workshop and had the oilway cut into it for €40!
2. The other issue was degredation in the voltage feed wire to the REG/REC. I put a feed through an ignition controlled relay direct from the battery and no more overcharging. They still struggle to output decent voltage (well compared to a K alternator) so The LED light converions make a difference but its been working well for about 7 k miles now!
