Screw p/n 31 42 2 310 528

Nut p/n 31 42 1 457 226

Max lists the screw at US$78. That seems excessive.

Anyone have any to part with?

Take a wander down your local Harbor Freight (??) or hardware store. Either buy stainless steel A2/A4 grade if you're feeling flush or bog-standard zinc-passivated bolts. In the latter case make sure they're stamped 8.8 on the head.

Those aren't generic hardware. It's the big finely threaded screw at the top of the steering head.

I've been having issues with Paypal. Are you familiar with Zelle?

By the way, that part number is for the later 4 valve K100RS, not the earlier 2V RS. Is that what you need? (I have either.)

K100RS triple tree parts Img_6611K100RS triple tree parts Img_6610om a 41.3mm fork tube triple tree, from a K100, according to the seller on FB Marketplace. I'm old and a bit of a Luddite. PayPal is about the limit of my remote pay knowledge. I can send you a check or Postal money order if that works. This is my triple tree. Looking at Laitch's pics, it looks like it is the later 4V bike.

Yes, those are the later 4V fork trees. Just want to make sure that you get the correct parts.

I sent you a PM with my email address.
