Hi everyone, let me introduce myself. I live in Canberra and I am leading the team organising the BMW 40th Anniversary K Series Motorcycle Rally for the BMW Motorcycle Club of Canberra.


I am happy to answer questions about this rally and I am looking for practical ideas or suggestions from other K enthusiasts to make this event a success.

Welkom to the best K bike forum around.  Just ignore the eccentric behaviour of the odd few.  

There are quite a few of us who are anticipating this weekend and making plans as we speak.  I am yet to register on your site but will do so soon.  

No real expectations except the usual.  No need for loud music, and don't know if you have the numbers for a bar or catering.  Wood for campfires would be welcome and I'm sure there are enough facilities to look after ourselves locally.  

It may be an idea to contact local media and put a positive spin on the event.  I'm not one for group rides but that's me.  

Oh, and dancing girls.  We love dancing girls.
