So I've had my 1995 K75 for about six weeks now and I'm loving it. Took into NYC today for a meeting and it was nice being able to lane split through traffic heading into the Lincoln Tunnel from New Jersey, this would be a bit more challenging on my K1600GT with the huge side cases attached. Today I just had the 22l top case mounted. I'm doing a ton of research on things I want to do to the bike and I'm thinking of using my SW Motech tank bag with the locking ring. Has anyone done this? Is there a kit I could use to replace the locking hinged cap with a non locking cap and the appropriate ring to mount the bag? Thanks all.

Splitting:  There are 22L side "city cases" for K75s, K100s and K1100s that make splitting a lot easier.

I believe GB777 also now known as Gary the Greater drilled and tapped his fuel cap to mount his locking ring. He might supply piccies on how he did it.

If that is the brand I think it is then our K bikes are not one of the options by SW Motech.  I was looking at that system last year and if you want to make it fit then it will have to be modified.  Good luck with that.
