Hello all. ?Blue '86 K100,
Now that I've got the throttle cable installed, maybe, hoping, it's time to move on to the various under the tank wires. Are there any lists of the various wires, their connector's for identifiction, and where they are positioned/placed?

Thanks
J.

There is a picture of where a connector is under the tank, which answers 1/3 of your ask

Another one-third is that most of the connectors are polarised so will only connect to their partner. Until you come to the clutch, front brake, rear brake and fast idle which are all yellow because it's the same physical switch type...

What's "5-Starter switch" in that diagram?

Number 5 is the plug for the ignition key switch, the plug beside it that joins the loom with 4, is for the flasher cancel button. The drawing puts the flasher cancel at plug 1, so I think that's a typo.

The picture isn't wrong. The orientation is strange. The front of the motorcycle frame is at the bottom of the picture, the relay box at the top, the right side of the motorcycle on the left and visa versa for the left side.

True the drawing is correct and tricky with the front at the bottom, I think it's just labeled wrong with plug number 1, they put it at the front, but actually the flasher cancel plug is between plug number 4 and 5.

You're right about the turn signal cancel connector being near "4". Odd that they have drawn a dangling plug near "4" but not labelled it with "1" because that is exactly what the connector looks like.
