Well I've had my trusty 1987 K75 and hate to say it but have barely ridden it.  I have road raced my entire life so the poor K bike and dad's 1985 R80 RT largely went unridden except for the once in a while trip to the mountains.  The K did serve me well when I did a few long distance, inter-state trips up to Washington and east as far as Colorado.  However that was a long time ago.

I am in the process of getting it back to proper running order after having the fuel pump go out on it once about three years ago.  I replaced it and it ran fine but again, hardly rode it.  Then now, it's developed all sorts of gremlins.  New battery won't start it, fuel pump doesn't run when starter button is depressed and will hardly turn over.  Jumped it will but abruptly cut out last time I started it.  That was three months ago.

I have since focused on getting the air head running and only have to redo the front brakes and it's GTG.

Will be asking question on the "jet turbine"; that's what people call that K bike.  I really enjoy riding it as it is pure joy.  Never rode anything so smooth.

Project will soon be to build an air head vintage road racer.  That will be my retirement project.  Love the sound!!

Anyway, keep the shinny side up ladies and gents.
