Greetings from Sydney Australia, I ride a 1986 BMWk100RS I have owned this bike for roughly 15 years and other than batteries and the know speedo fault it's been a great bike, I've been riding bikes since i was 12 years old with my first dirt bike being a Honda 75cc, I was small at 12 and I use to mount the beast, then straight to a Honda 250cc road/trail, then straight to a 750cc Yamaha, a 100cc Suzuki GXE and a Honda 1000 VF and finally onto my BMW K100RS, I would love to buy a BMW 1300S but unless I grow another foot which sadly that's not going to happen or I do major modifications to the bike to make it fit my height, but that's enough about me, I'm just pleased to be here.

Welcome Tony,

I'm sure you will fit in well.  Not much parking space from what I remember around that part of town.

Welcome!

Sad as it may be, it’s just as well that you can’t grow another foot because then you’d also need to grow another leg to attach to it for providing three-point stability at stops; after that would come the challenge of finding trousers and waltz partners. Things have a way of working out for the best. cheers

Welkome from just up the road in the Hunter Valley.

Keep your eyes on the forum for potential rides/get togethers. We have been sadly lacking on getting together here in Oz since the start of Covid and then the almost constant poor weather over the last 18 months but hopefully we'll revert to our pervious mode of having several meet ups a year over the next few months.

Cheers

I don't know, I have three or four legs. The trick is not to try wearing them all at the same time. Saves on having trousers specially made.
