How to successfully remove old lens from its carrier plate. Its fixed with an adessive  pad, you will need a slim sharp knife and a kettle of hot water or heat gun, heat the lens use knife to gently separate old lens form plastic carrier. done in less than 15 mins. New lens fits perfect, hope this helps.

PS I used a soft setting gasket goo to fix new lens.
