I know there's a lot of folks that believe the K bikes shouldn't be altered.  I get that.  But, it was a hack job when I bought it, I wanted a Covid project, and let's face it.... K bikes look pretty cool in Cafe form.

So... start to finish.... about 15 months.  While I don't post here very often, I assure you..... this forum has been invaluable.  Thanks for your help!

1990 K100
2007 Suzuki GSX-R front struts
GSX-R front brakes and fender
GSX-R front wheel
Metzeler Racetec RR tires
Cognito Moto fork conversion (K100 to GSX-R)
New rear sets (6 inch back, 3 inch up)
Akropovich muffler
Custom exhaust
Motogadget mini digital gauge
Motogadget motosign LEDs (ign, low fuel, brights, L turn, R turn)
Lots of other fun cafe bits and pieces.

Thanks for all the help I've received here!

Oh, man, that Indian would make a great chopper!  Sky pipes, 15" springer, ape hangers, peanut tank and a sissy bar.  Yeah, Baby!!!

Probably.... LOL.

Thats my comfortable, reliable, long-range tool for touring Europe.

I've got 12 days planned on that thing in June...... through at least 5 Balkan countries.

I've done a few mods to it (exhaust, leather bits, white walls, etc).... but obviously nothing major... but I had intended to keep it for purpose.

Lol.... I've been married to the same woman for 17 years.  Pretty lucky she supports my obsessions.

But.... it already makes a statement.  Have you seen how many Indian dealers there are in Europe??  I can count on one hand, how many times I've seen a person riding an Indian (any model) in Europe.... and I've lived here 3.5 years now..... and traveled to nearly have the countries in Europe.

It makes a statement Smile

It's definitely one of the better custom jobs I've seen of a K. A lot of thought has been put into it. that's obvious.

Thanks!

I'm curious how you knew they were USD?  wouldn't GSX-r folks be the same everywhere?

Thanks.  I'm still not 100% happy with it..... but at least at this point I can ride it.

It is incredibly uncomfortable.... but lots of fun Smile

Awesome job mate. But would be better if you trimmed the side tags on bottom of tank. They let it down a bit.
