Removed those little needle bearings by getting small bead on shell and tapping out with a punch.  No luck with blind puller or any other method. 
Just very low current on wire feed welder and a delicate touch. 

While you have it out is a good time to fit a grease nipple. The occasional greasing keeps the road crap out.
