Folks,

I'm considering a switchout of my 1995 K75T's handlebar to a K75S bar.

I have heated grips, so I'm looking for a bar that's prepped to acept heated grips.

My K75 is accented in OEM black (engine, handlebar, forks etc.) so that's be my preference, but scavengers can't be choosy... there's a quality powdercoat shop nearby where I could change the color.

Pls PM me if you have one up in the attic garage basement corner etc. Many thanks in advance!

If you have a set of "C" bars they are getting rare. You might want to hang onto them until you see if the "S" bars work for you.
Regards Martin.

K75S and K100RS handlebars are the same item along with the dash pad.  So they should be easy to find.  You will need to change to the S/RS dash pad as well, so you'll be looking for one of those as well.  From memory there should be two small holes in the centre lower surface of the crossover piece for the heated handlebars' wiring to go through.

When the S bars are fitted, there will be no gap between the dash pad, switch gear and grips unlike the T/RT bars, so the colour you want is the silver chromed version.  Saying that I don't think I have ever seen a set of bleck S/RS bars.

The S/RS bars are quite narrow compared to what you are used to and you will be leaning further forward whilst riding.  You will definitely notice the difference.  I am fairly certain that you will no longer be able to fit the T model largish clear windscreen.

You will also be able to fit the shorter cables as well and I would recommend going for the shorter mirrors too.  Fit the later model mirrors such as in my avatar photo 'cause they're cool.  They were originally designed for the K1.

Finally if you do wish to sell your T bars then can I be first in the queue, please?

I think I may have a set of RS bars floating around but will have to look to see if they have the wiring holes.

I don't think I've ever seen a pair of chrome S/RS bars.  I have 2 or 3 pairs of RS bars down in my garage, all black, not sure of heated grip status, I'd have to check (postage from OZ would be not cost effective though).  K100RS-16v/K1100RS are the same bend and height but wider (approx 50mm overall).

You are correct Al.  My mistake.

I have checked all of my 75S bars and they are black, including the C.  The spare RS bars I have are also black but no heated handlebar wiring holes.
