The online videos and documentations that I have seen show only a single sensor and the other hole is used by the coolant drain plug. Mine has another sensor instead of drain plug.  Is that a normal or is it California thing?

It's neither. The rubber boot covered switch indicated by the upper arrow is the oil pressure switch connected to the oil pressure light in the instrument cluster.

The lower arrow points to a water temperature switch that would connect to a temperature gauge on the fairing interior, if your moto had one.

Thanks Laitch for the explanation and diagrams. I indeed have both instrument cluster.
