It's neither. The rubber boot covered switch indicated by the upper arrow is the oil pressure switch connected to the oil pressure light in the instrument cluster.bmwk100rs wrote:Mine has another sensor instead of drain plug. Is that a normal or is it California thing.

The lower arrow points to a water temperature switch that would connect to a temperature gauge on the fairing interior, if your moto had one.
